A Roof Replacement That Turned Into a Duct Replacement

Almost no usable attic space
This started as a straightforward roof replacement in Sanger, just outside Fresno. Once we had the deck open, it was clear there was almost no attic space to work with — the kind of constraint that normally makes duct access a real headache for a separate HVAC crew coming in later. Since we were already up there with the roof open, it was the right moment to replace the ductwork too, instead of leaving Barry and Judy to schedule a second company for a job that would’ve been far harder to access afterward.

Because the roof deck was already open, accessing and replacing the ductwork was straightforward — no ceiling cuts, no separate mobilization, no second company to coordinate with. The photos tell most of the story: what used to be a tight, hard-to-reach space is now clean and properly sealed, done by the same crew that was already there for the roof.
